My very first camera was a Box Brownie on my thirteenth birthday. I bought my first ‘real’ camera when I was 16 – 35mm Agfa in 1956 and some of my early photos still exist. I am now a RIC. That is I am retired in Crete (Greece) part time. I enjoy gardening, walking and taking photos of the wonderful landscapes, flowers and beaches plus the interesting locals. I also write. But, My wife and I also like to find interesting places outside of Greece.
I have used Pentax cameras since 1972 and am currently on a K-5. My film stock cameras are Bronica. Lenses for both range from 18mm to 600mm.
Please ask if you would like to make use of a film placed on public display as my photographs are copyright protected.
Being a bit of a dinosaur I use no social websites but am always happy to be contacted by Bubblemail.

Smudge has won a challenge. Our cat has done us proud winning the challenge in the Four Paws and Big Hearts event ‘That Can’t Be Comfortable’. How he managed to do what he did beats us. / Thank you to everyone who voted for Smudge and well done everyone else; there were a lot of wonderful moggies there. Thank you to Keala too for organising an amusing event. / Francis
Up until a couple of days ago we could go into our work and order up various size posters on some images. It seems, as of today, in all our work that all posters have become Small only when we want Large. We can still get our photographs up to large. Does anyone know what is going on? Maybe I am going daft
A delightful surprise on a dull day. A Top Ten win in The AS Is Group Challenge Clocks with my photograph ’Don’t Call Me Oscar’. Thank you to Marie, our host, and everyone who voted.
