I love all the stories about the mystical/magical powers of Yew trees……and I just think that they’re such beautiful trees in general.
This one sits on the outskirts of a local cemetery, and as I walked up to it that day I loved the way that the light was falling on it…. and how lovely the greenery looked against the bark.
Some trees seem so alive , wonderful capture you live in such a beautiful part of the world
Thanks so much for your lovely words……this will sound so daft but I always look at this tree and think that the trunk has the shape of two arms…..stretching up to the light lol. All in all, truth be told I’m such a tree-hugger!! :-)
