WOW This is gorgeous- I love her Kimono xx

  • Thanks so much Anita! This is my largest piece to date, so I feel very accomplished having FINALLY completed it! I love the kimono too, although, since it is so large, that’s about 2 feet of guache vines that I painted…took FOREVER! LOL

Yay, you finsished her. She is beautiful, and huge!!!! Love the detail shot of her face over here…I love her eyes and lips…especially how wet and shiney they are! She was definately worth the wait!

  • It’s about time I finished her, right?! LOL She is massive! I saw this canvas at the store and thought….OOO! That’s a different size, I think I’ll try a really big painting. Then I decided to paint this Geisha….I almost gave up, felt like I took on too big of a project, but I’m glad I didn’t! :) With her being 4ft tall, she’s basically life-size – and that means there’s about 2 feet worth of guache vines on that kimono…that was the time consuming part! LOL
I had to post the detail shots, since she’s so tall, you just don’t get to see everything in the normal view. I’m so glad you like her, I’m definitely pleased, I had sucha great photo to work with! :) Thank you thank you! xoxo
