Canon Powershot A 400 with a touch of editing in picnik
We woke up at 6:30 AM this morning to hot air balloon pilots knocking on our door. It is time for the annual National Balloon Classics in Indianoloa, Iowa where we live. The pilots have to ask permission before they launch or land on your property and this was a launching day.
Between my mom’s property next door and ours, over 30 hot air balloons set up, inflated and launched! We are very familiar with these towering beauties, but it is always exciting. The beauty and tranquility of a hot air balloon flying over never loses its power to inspire me.
I walked around with my little camera and snapped right and left. Forgive my lack of professional photography skills, but I wanted to give you a peek into what I got to see and experience this morning. Hope you enjoy the photos!
