Really Big Fish, Little Fish

Really Big Fish, Little Fish

Liquid Watercolor on Yupo (Robert Doak paint)

These poor little fishies don’t have a chance with this big guy coming at them. Yet that is the underwater world – big fish eat little fish.

Sometimes I don’t like reality, but it is what it is, and part of life is accepting things as they are, and often it is not on our terms. I guess this shows my soft spot for the little guy, the underdog. Swim little fishies swim, with all your heart, mind and energy!!

Lynn, I could have sworn it’s made out from a photograph of some kind of pool/pond… gorgeous shades of blue and suggestive title.
You are right, life is such that the little fish is a big fish for even smaller fish or similar live food… Life eats life that eats life that eats life, knowingly or unknowingly, willingly or reluctantly… as sad as this may be.

  • Lynn Moore replied

I was amazed when I was looking at the larger piece, turning it in all directions and there those guys were, little and big fish! Thanks for looking Vasile : )
