My Sri Lanka Tsunami Survivors photo series shows several people whose post-tsunami paralyzing fear of the ocean was eased through art therapy. By drawing their memories of the tsunami and the flood they reconciled with the sea, and stepped into the water again, at first just up to their ankles but eventually to their waists and, the more they drew, the deeper they were able to go. Your work, too, gives both an aesthetic and therapeutic radiance.
