This is the latest pyrography subject I’ve done. Lots of feather detail. Almost drove me CRAZY!! Glad it is done, and in the shop where I sell wood burnings.I have been using tree branches as easels to show it off, on a mantle. It is 14×24″.I added a bit of white, and ochre paint to feathers , beak and claws near white tail. It was then polyurethaned.

I am doing this owl on a wonderful piece of applewood that is 24×12″. I love the wood grain and knotts, and got it for a bargain-$25.00.It is so fun working on a larger piece of wood. Thanks for looking!

lynnieB, you have unique and beautiful work!
Svetlana, Thank you so much. The branch is the holder, like to show on a fireplace mantle, or wherever. Eagles are so strong, and impressive. Thank you again. This took a while because of the feather details.
