Inspired by a money challenge, I shot these old chinese coins in a silk coin purse. Taken with Canon T2i and 100 mmL lens; f25, 3.25s, ISO 200.
Top Ten winner, Absolute Clarity Money challenge, 3-6-2013
I’m a self taught photographer who enjoys macro photography, especially wildflowers and other flora and fauna seen in nature. I also enjoy photographing refractions and reflections from rain, water and mirrors. I use a Canon T2i with a Canon 100mm 2.8 IS USM lens. I almost always use a tripod, too. I really enjoy viewing the wonderful photos that I have seen on redbubble!

Nice shot, Lynn. I admire the way you keep finding new subjects in the house, presumably because of the inclement weather!
You are so right, Bette! I have to make do with things inside for the most part. I had been meaning to take a photo of these coins for quite some time but it took a money challenge for me to get started. Thanks so much for your insightful comments!!!

Thank you so much for your lovely comments and the fave, Celeste! I thought the coins were unusual too…my son bought them on a visit to China a few years ago.
