Introducing Scoop Neck Tees and Unisex Tanks — FIND OUT MORE

According to Celtic mythology , Salmon symbolize wisdom and intelligence. This latest piece of mine harkens back to my earlier “flat” design animal artworks and features three (a magical number to Celts as well as other cultures) crafty salmon intertwining in a knotwork pattern on red Canson paper. I used mostly ink for this piece, as well as touches of white acrylic and gold paint. 25 × 19 inches.

This piece will most likely be earmarked for a new gallery that will be representing my work in the near future. Details TBA.

Having a great love animals, fairytales, and world mythology, Pennsylvania artist Lynnette Shelley fuses these influences into her strikingly unique illustrations. Her artwork strikes a primal chord in many viewers, with almost Jungian associations to the colors and shapes. Her artworks have been likened to images from an undiscovered ancient civilization or culture.
