Having a great love animals, fairytales, and world mythology, Pennsylvania artist Lynnette Shelley fuses these influences into her strikingly unique illustrations. Her artwork strikes a primal chord in many viewers, with almost Jungian associations to the colors and shapes. Her artworks have been likened to images from an undiscovered ancient civilization or culture.

I didn’t have patience today to concentrate on one piece (which is exactly what I intended to do today), I have just flitted from piece to piece, doodling on paper with coloured pencil and ink, but just keep drawing the same set of wings over and over, certainly not anything worth showing, but I’ll try to see if I can relax into it over the weekend and see where these frustrating doodles lead me…Cheers Mel

  • Cool. Thanks for sharing.

Have you got little gremlins or goblins helping you do all these designs!! Great to see yet another lovely piece. Have you ever done stained glass

  • I would LIKE to do stained glass – or at the very least design stained glass. that would be awesome.
