Having a great love animals, fairytales, and world mythology, Pennsylvania artist Lynnette Shelley fuses these influences into her strikingly unique illustrations. Her artwork strikes a primal chord in many viewers, with almost Jungian associations to the colors and shapes. Her artworks have been likened to images from an undiscovered ancient civilization or culture.

MmmmHmmm! RVG
I love this – and not just because I’m a Cap! I’ve been all over your bubble and just love your style!
Thanks very much :) I need to take a better photo of this one before it goes to an art show in September. Although in hindsight, I probably would have done the background/waves differently. I’ll have to make a Sea Goat II and address those issues.

I like the sort of ebb and flow of it. Ah, but when you’re an artist the choices are limitless. Can’t wait to see what you chose to do next!
wonderful work
I like this very much, all your beasts and animals are so fantastic!
These are incredible, do you have a lot of this type of art on the walls of your house?
HI Fidel.
I have some art here on my walls but it’s usually rotating (I have a long hallway that I keep stuff hanging on as it waits to go out to galleries etc). I have a few “Permanent” pieces that I decided to keep (at least for now though I may eventually switch them out for something else if I get bored with them (or someone makes me an offer I can’t refuse, which is what happened to one such “permanent” piece).
I have another friend that stores work for me while it’s waiting to go to a show as he has a ton of extra space and he has them hanging up in the halls of his house as well. So we have a couple of mini pseudo galleries going between us lol.
I also keep some of my RB’s friend’s wonderful art up as well – particularly in my office/work space so I can look at it while I work :)
Thanks for your kind comments
