I love bats, this is perfection in everyway, just gorgeous!! :)

Thanks Ming. I have bats in my back yard, which help get rid of the mosquitoes, but they are not nearly as large as the fruit bats I’ve seen in captivity. I really love the faces of the fruit bat though. They are so expressive looking.

I love the way you have made the colours contrast without them being garish. Very subtle and very effective. I also like the texturing and shading and of course the Celtic atmosphere … a very successful picture indeed.

Wonderful! I love bats, and fruit bats in particular and not just because they remind me of Chihuahuas. :) I think it’s great the way you’ve venerated a creature so misunderstood and demonized.
