Icon II: The Panther
The second artwork in my new ICON series. The royal panther is resplendent in purple against a golden background.
The original artwork measures 11×15” and is rendered with oil pastels, woodless colored pencils, art pens, metallic paint pens, and embellished with colored foil. I used a heavy textured Strathmore Artist paper (dark purple).
The colors on this artwork scan are not quite true to life, unfortunately, but this is the closest I was able to tweak it.
