Melusine II
Depiction of the mythological figure of Melusine – a siren type figure with the upper body of a woman and the lower body of a fish, serpent or even a dragon, depending on the legend. She is considered a water spirit.
This work is created with mixed media (oil pastels, colored pencils, marker pen, and paint pen) on gray watercolor paper.

Oil pastel works well for you! Try roughing up the texture you work on. Thats what I do (eg BIRDMAN). It will give you so much more texture. A good one is to scrunch up the paper then glue it flat onto a panel of wood. Tissue paper is excellent for this too. Make a texture then like a bed, lie on it! Your work is lovely..keep it up!!
