Patricia Anne ...
just LOVE this one! Welcome aboard!
Lynnette Shelley
Thank you Patricia. This is one of my faves too, although the colors did not come out quite the way they should be in this photo I took of the artwork. Still working on my photography skills ;) I plan on making a second one of these, as a companion piece, at some point.

Lovely work .Have you ever seen The Book of Kells, this reminds me of that book.Regards.
Lynnette Shelley
HI Macquaid. yes I am very familiar with the Book Of Kells, I have a repro of some of it at home. Actually, I would credit the Book of Kells with starting me down this particular artistic path when I was 17 or 18.

Lynnette, you seem, like me, to have a love of medieval illumination…you won my appreciation as soon as I viewed your first image…your use of gold is never over done and each image is like a gem that glows with inner fire…this one most especially…all strength to your creativity!
Lynnette Shelley replied
Hi Rory. Yes, you are correct, I love medieval illumination. The above artwork is one of my favorites… I need to make more on this theme. Anyway, thank you for your comments. I really appreciate them.

Hiya! This piece got 3rd place in Color Me a Rainbow’s Orange challenge. Just to cover all bases to make sure we dont have a first place tie, can you please tell me how many vote this piece got in that challenge? To do so, on your bubble overview page, there’s a box to the right that holds all your groups. Scroll down to Color Me a Rainbow, and your entry should be there with the number of votes it received in the challenge. Just let me know what that says and I will give you the correct billing for your challenge place! Thanks! ;-)
