Beautiful choice in colours and design; I adore the greens, the pattern work, and the split tail. Rather than the impression of “Sea Dragon” I keep on envisioning a forest environment cradling this beauty, though none the less your beastie is wonderful!
What mediums did you use?
Lynnette Shelley replied
Thanks for your comments and for taking the time to look at my sea dragon. In answer to your question, I used primarily oil pastels, but I also used some colored pencil, marker, and metallic gold, silver and white paints (via paint pen).

Outstanding Lynnette, I still haven’t listened to your band, but will :-). Norval

Celtic Art lives in you!! Brilliant to see it on RB. We are kindred spirits.
Lynnette Shelley replied
Thanks. I’ve been fascinated by Celtic art ever since I saw artwork from the Book of Kells as a teenager

Is there a Celtic art site on RB? We have to join if there is. Maybe you have already! If there isnt, lets make one!!
Lynnette Shelley replied
I was looking to see if there is one and I don’t see one. Maybe we should start one?
