Artist's Description

This beautiful 14th century church of Ranworth in the Norfolk Broads contains one of the finest examples of a mediaeval ‘rood’ screen in the country and an exquisite 15th century illuminated songbook, known as the Ranworth Antiphoner.

Over 100,000 people vist this church in a year and many climb the 100ft tower to see the views over Norfolk, unfortunately I couldn’t do it, fear of heights and a tight spiral staircase put paid to that!

Taken with canon 50d and sigma 18 – 50 lens
