Ruthven Barracks, Kingussie in the Scottish Highlands dates back to 1721 though the first signs of a castle here goes as far back as 1229. Love highland cows and was so pleased to find some with young calves with this beautiful background :). Taken with canon 5-d and sigma 24 – 70 lens. Ruthven Barracks are maintained by Historic Scotland.
