Big Bubble Meet Update - 19/20 March Edinburgh
Yes the bubble meet is now a 2 day affair for anyone who wants to join us. Saturday 19th March we will be heading “over the water” to Fife to visit the lovely wee town of Culross, Limekins and Torryburn and Rosyth Castle en route. The plan is to leave market street at 10am and stop at the car park overlooking the Forth Road Bridge to pick up anyone leaving from that side of town.
Robin and I are happy to take our cars, Jase, Donna, Gary, Pam and Alex will be getting a lift from us leaving 3 spaces in our cars for people leaving from town, spaces on first come first served basis. Tom I hope will be taking his car from South Queensferry.
We will be heading back into town centre for sunset so we can get some nice shots from Calton hill. Then off somewhere for supper, venue yet to be decided.
Please BM me for any more info and let me know you are coming. I also need to book eats for sunday so please drop me a quick BM to say if you are coming along Sunday. So far I have 16 names for sunday from the other 2 journals but anyone is welcome.

I just collected my car today from the garage after its little bit of surgery so no problem for me to take my car, that should allow us to spread out a bit. Should provide a bit of room for anyone who wants to take some moving shots as we cross the Forth Bridge.
Sylvia and I will come along for supper on Saturday evening and I will meet you all at Holyrood car park on Sunday morning.
Really looking forward to it, should be a great weekend.

Thanks Tom, knew I could count on you. Hopefully Keith and Elaine will join us for supper on Sat night, just need to make it somewhere central so they ban both get into town. Suggestions welcome. Mindful of the budget I did wonder if we should go down Leith to the Kings Wark?

Right Im in for the Saturday too. I have Ice hockey on Sunday so can only be around for a little while on Sunday as I need to be at Murrayfield for 4:30 pm but if Im allowed out to play with you I shall be there all day Saturday and my car will be available (for the brave) too

Just a note but there are some roadworks on Market street at the moment, not sure when they finish but there is no parking from the mini roundabout at Waverly bridge to the Jeffery street junction.
Really looking forward to the Edinburgh Bubble Meet Lynne. Please count Pam and I in for everything, had a wonderful time last year. See you soooooon!
Hi Lynne, not sure whether I will be there or not. Sorting out family regarding whether to purchase our share of the inherited house or not, and moving stuff about as Insurance company want all the contents removed before end of March. Not easy deciding what to keep and not to keep. Feel like we are robbing my mother in law, sounds a bit daft but that is how it feels. If I can make it for a couple of hours I will but not a promise.
Hi Chris, I wasn’t sure if you would be around or not and know you are busy with family matters. Not easy dealing with family things like that. Hubby’s dad passed away 4 weeks ago so know some of what you are going through. If you can make it along that would be great but understand if you dont. xx
