This is part of a 9-11 Memorial by Pepperdine College in Malibu, CA. They had 3,000 large flags flying…one for each of the people killed in the terrorist attacks of Sept 11th. This great land of ours stays free, thanks to the many men and women who fight to protect our freedom. God bless you all who serve us so well!

This must be powerful to see and experience! And I echo the blessings to all who have given of their lives, the families who have lost loved ones or who have a spouse, son or daughter fighting for our freedom over seas, and for the families left behind after 9/11. Yes…it was very moving…it actually stopped traffic multiple times while I was there! People just stopped there cars in the middle of a busy street, opened their doors, and stood staring and/or taking pictures!
