East Loch Tarbert lies on the west side of Lower Loch Fyne, opposite Portavadie on the east side. Loch Fyne is the longest sea loch in Scotland at 70km and deepest at 180m+ and opens to the south into the Firth of Clyde. The Harbour itself is a natural amphitheatre and a yachtman’s paradise, with an easily navigated narrow entrance at the east side opening onto Loch Fyne.

I live in a village in the Highlands of Scotland called Lochgoilhead. Love photographing, landscapes, birds, flowers, in fact anything! I am retired and photography is a hobby that I love and enjoy. Totally self-taught only came to it a few years ago.
