Golden gosling
Taken in July 2008 with a Canon EOS 400D and 18-55mm lens
I sat on the floor right next to these beautiful babies. I had a loaf of bread to keep Mother and Father goose content and kept very very still.

Thank you sweet pea. I wanted to hug them too…but I didn’t want to get hissed at. LOL So I just kept very still and fed them lots of bread and they let me sit right next to them :-)

How sweet…your work is great! I could use some advice:) I’d like to get into Macro but can’t decide on a macro lens or a much needed 18-200 zoom lens. I noticed some of your macro shots were at 150mm. What is the difference between a macro and standard zoom lens when the focal distance is the same?
