The State Library in Adelaide has an older section called the Mortlock Wing which was opened in 1884. I love the dark look and feel of this room with it’s beautiful timber and decorative iron, along with the round lights and very old books. It was quiet, as you would expect with only a few students working in the alcoves between the bookshelves.
