  • Hi Phil, me old pal! Well isn’t it interesting that you like this one better!! I might like it a bit better in a frame. Hey, not long now until footy season. (I heard a rumour that Deez and Tiges might be thinking of merging)!!!!

You are so lucky to have such wonderful scenery around you !!
This is wonderful, the foreground grasses are excellent
We have some magnificent scenery but never have warm enough weather to go out and paint it !!!

  • Hi George! Thanks for the great comment. I know how lucky I am, not only with the scenery, but with the climate! We do have some lovely places around here and it is never difficult to find a subject. I am fortunate!

Following up on my previous remark, in this one it’s your expert ablility to bring great depth into your work. Your skill of increasing the details as the move to the forground is well demonstrated in this work. Love the light details of the tall weedy grasses in the foreground. Also a very effective dark shadowed creek bank really leads your viewer visually into your work. Again well done and very beautiful Lynda.

  • What a fabulous comment Jim. I used a bit of ‘artistic licence’ as there was another lump of bank extending into the creek, which ruined the composition! I had to dredge it out!!! I also chopped down a couple of trees! The grasses were great fun! Thank you for your constant support Jimmy.
