Fellow RB artist, Greg Pastoll came from South Africa to Australia to paint the Goulburn River with me! Here is a journal about his visit…… RB VISITOR & BUCKET LIST FULFILLMENT which adds an explanation to this photo and includes more photos.
Really a nice photograph Lynda, should paint it some day. Check out my plein aire group http://oopsnc.blogspot.com/
That is such a FANTASTIC and inspirational link to ’OOPS" Jimmy! Have you ever written a journal on RB and added a link to it? I think many people would be interested to see this. I know I will go back and browse through it more thoroughly later on. I would love to be a part of your plein aire group.
great shot Lynda!
Thanks heaps Carol.
Great photo, Lynda! If your painting doesn’t “wow” them, your classy look sure will!!!!!
Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!!! Thanks Marsha! You are such a doll! I didn’t look too ‘classy’ later in the day with sweat dripping off my nose, and streaks of pastel splodges all over my face!
Thank you so much Robin.
great to see RB artists in their own enviroment creating their masterpieces Lyndy Lou..wonderful!! and I love the hat…great colour.
Thank you so much for the lovely comment Linda. Yes, that hat has been very handy!! LOL!
What a lovely place to paint!
Thanks for the wonderful comment Shulie.
Wow…I Wish you make my foto,My Dream, So nice work
Hi Bobby! Thanks for the great comment.
Isn’t it lovely when you have somebody as passionate as you are about painting, so that you can get together and spend hours like this? I think it’s a wonderful and companionable capture Lynda :-)
What a wonderful comment Stanza. Thank you so much.
I notice the shoes are missing again Lynda! Aren’t you worried a lizard will make your toe part of his daily cuisine?Great stuff and I envy Mr Pastoll but not your swollen tootsie.
Funny thing Gary, but I just can’t paint with my shoes on!!!!! LOL! Even when I go to a life drawing group the first thing I do is kick the shoes off! My tootsies survived this most enjoyable day relatively unscathed, although they did have a bit of brush with a sharp stick at one stage – underside of left big toe, but the scars have healed. Me and my feet thank you for your concern!!!!
P.S. – Did you happen to see THIS which gives a better explanation of the photo….
wow, excellent photo..
Thanks heaps Mr. Vukovic!
