I am winding down after a busy time organising an art show, amongst other busyness, and I decided I needed a ‘sea change’ artistically! Thank you so much Terry Everson (who takes the most amazing photographs of our beautiful country) for allowing me to use his image ‘Storm Approaching’:

I had such fun with that sky, and I played around with the colours to make them lean towards blue/orange complementaries.

A wonderful job, Lynda, in replicating the photo. I especially like the bright light & colors we so often see at the onset of a storm.
Thanks for the lovely comment Marsha. I rarely use photos taken by others – and prefer to stick to the ones I’ve taken myself, and the scenes I have seen myself, but I loved this one of Terry’s. I had a lot of fun with that sky, which is what attracted me to the photo in the first place.

Wonderful and moody seascape
Hi Hans. Thanks for the great comment. I printed off your wonderful river scene yesterday, so have it in the pipeline! It felt strange working from someone else’s photo doing this one, because it is someone elses ‘idea’ and image, but I really enjoyed it, especially the sky. I know I will enjoy the misty effect and the water in your image.
