July 2012 Juried Invitational Exhibition
This is my brother in law, and I have thoroughly enjoyed doing his portrait. To save using up heaps of my precious pastels, I used some Acrylic as an underpainting for the background, and then put ‘smatterings’ of pastel over the top of it. Completed this afternoon, on a wet and dreary 25th April 2012, with the stove roaring in the studio to keep me cosy!
