Pastel on Colourfix Paper (burgundy) 70cm x 50cm

We are having some wonderful autumn evenings at the moment. This is the last painting I had to complete for the exhibitions that are coming up between now and Easter. An example of the bush country around my home, and this time I found a ‘stringybark’ tree to focus my attention on instead of ironbarks!

Something tells me you are going to go very well in these exhibitions. Got myself some more burgundy paper today. All of your latest landscapes have inspired me to have another go myself :)

  • Well I won’t hold my breath about how well I do Dianne, but I will let you know! I have 11 paintings in my studio at the moment! I finished this one and framed it this afternoon. I am so pleased you’ve got some more paper and you are going to have another go!!!!

  • Hello there Sandra! Thanks for the wonderful comment. I am happy with how this one looks in the frame. Just got a couple of ‘niggles’ about it, but then I always do have!!!! I think I will send this one to Alexandra Rotary.

Another great piece of artwork. Pity you don’t live near me – “From the Bush to the Beach” sounds like a good name for an exhibition. Hope it all goes well for you. xx

  • Oooh – that exhibition title DOES have a nice ring to it!!! LOL! It’s a great pity we don’t live closer. Thanks for the wonderful comment Carole.

I would happily be the owner of any one of those 11 painting. Wish I had a budget for purchasing artwork. At the moment I think I would be lucky to afford the frame :(

  • LOL! Thanks again Dianne. We could come to an arrangement!!!!
