Artist's Description

Pastel on Canson Paper (Green)
Another early work, and probably my only attempt EVER at painting flowers (which I have never had much luck with)! The Cootamundra Wattle turns the Australian countryside green & gold and gives us a hint that spring is on the way. It usually blooms around our area in late July. Although it is very very beautiful, it is great ‘sneezemaking’ blossom.
