Pastel on Mie Teintes pastel paper
Thought I would upload this one just because it is Melbourne Cup Week! I apologise for the poor image, but this is an early ‘Robinson’ and I didn’t have a very good camera back then.

I am a pastel artist living in country Victoria, Australia. My subjects vary, ranging from landscapes, portraiture, animal studies, figurative, life drawing, still life and I find the challenge of painting water particularly enjoyable.
OMG!…this is soooo besutiful Lynda dear!Excellent work…as always..:)I love it!hugs,Betty
Oh do you really think so Betty? That makes my day, because I reckon it looks a bit ordinary!!!! LOL!

Ha Ha! ‘Besutiful’ is more descriptive!!!
I think it is magnificent Lynda, bravo!
Great to hear from you and thanks a million Constance.
Nice one Lynda dispite Melbourne cup disrupting my business..lol
Thanks Mick. I am tempted to say “Please explain”!
I run a small engineering supply business between painting so most couriers and suppliers aren’t working tomorrow and i have staff away. I was half joking anyway…horsing around….lol
LOL! Well I hope your normal service will be resumed as soon as possible. It’s not ’J’Oaks Day until Thursday is it? (Stop groaning – it’s the best I could do on the ‘spur’ of the moment)!
I remember this one and I too, think it is magnificent …even if it is photographed with your old camera!
Yes – I had a pair of ‘em- the other one was ’Redoute’s Choice’ but the photo for that was worse!!!
This is fantastic, Lynda (and it is not even on the usual burgandy paper LOL)
Burgundy paper probably wasn’t even invented when I did this Dianne!!!!
Great work Lynda! You can feel the action in this one!
