I am a pastel artist living in country Victoria, Australia. My subjects vary, ranging from landscapes, portraiture, animal studies, figurative, life drawing, still life and I find the challenge of painting water particularly enjoyable.

Wonderful colours Lynda ! The french would be proud :)
Thanks James. I had a bit of fun with those feathers!
Thank you very much David.
He is super!
Thank you very much Sue. You are extremely kind!!
Wonderful Lynda! Great colours! I think your friend will be pleased! Is this your chook you were working on to get finished?I’ve just been chasing a cat around the backyard with a female fairy wren in his mouth! My favourite bird! I rescued it but it may be too late. The male is out there calling to her. Arrgh, my cat the hunter!
Yep – this is hot off the easel Sally. Oh that NORTY cat! (I love your fairy wren painting by the way. My husband collects paintings of fairy wrens, so I must get you to do me one)!!! When our old cat died last year we decided not to replace him, and we are amazed at how much the birdlife has increased. They are lovely creatures, but deadly to the birds! I do hope your little casualty survives!!!!
Aaah, he is gorgeous Lynda! You’ve done him proud!
Thank you very much Maree. I just finished him about an hour ago. He has been on my ‘to do’ list for a year!!!!!! Isn’t that terrible??!
Ahhh, here’s a glorious one !! Love it, Lynda – you know how I like roosters very much- …(By the way, my little sis Colo is with us now….a long way from home for a few weeks with all her froggies……SOOOOO good to burst out laughing together !)
Thanks heaps Corinne! I was only thinking about you yesterday!!! How fantastic that you and Colo are reunited for awhile!!! I would love to be bursting out laughing with you both!
A much loved rooster… hmmm. How can you love anything that wakes you at the crack of dawn? All kidding aside, I’ve never seen a rooster look better. Beautiful, Lynda!!
I concur with your sentiments Laura! LOL! Thanks for a great comment.
