Pastel on Colourfix paper (burgundy) 70cm x 50cm

Another painting inspired by living in the Australian bush! We have had some lovely, ethereal, misty mornings recently, and I love the colours that can be found on ‘sparkly’ mornings like this!

Beautiful work Lynda! Love those colours! Great atmosphere here!

  • Thanks heaps Sally. Once again I had trouble getting the colours to look the same as they do in the original painting! RRRRR! They are a bit ‘softer’ than they appear here.

OMG, Lynda, this is just so “J.M.W.Turner like” it is the extraordinary light which you have frozen in a slice of time, well done, cheers, M

Wow Lynda, this is another absolute stunner, I just love what you do with the light, it’s so real that it would look fake to someone who hasn’t seen the Australian bush when the shadows are long, I think I can hear the kookaburras… :-)

  • Thanks for a great comment Matt. I am very lucky to live where I do and to be able to look out at this sort of scenery every day! There have been some “great to be alive” mornings recently, and the birds that have been filling my eardrums are the cockatoos! I’m sure they aim at my car roof with their ‘splats’!!!! LOL!
