    OH STUNNING!!!! as always!
I drool over your gorgeous pieces!
The sky and water mirror perfectly, the colours of the bush depicted so brilliantly! …. ::SIGH!!!!:: ……

and This weekend we were coming up camping – I had my heart set on it!!!! …… but no …..
Only the Sunday - I will be so close I could taste it!!!!!
    ….. but no …..
Only to “Mudbash” at the Rover Scout “Maffaking” Park in the next valley to the east near Caveat – Just over that HILL!!!! <)

So close and yet soooooo far! ….. ::sigh:: …..!!!!!
I drool on in hopes of one day smelling, feeling this area again!!
and content myself (just) with the sight of it through your art!
    ♥ Thank you! ♥
    Chookas! ♥Ü♥

  • Well what can I say!!!! Thank you for another of your amazing comments Alyssa! You wouldn’t want to be camping here at the moment! It is absolutely fereeeezing today, and apparently it is snowing at Mr. Bulla. Put your thermal underwear on for your visit to Caveat!!! LOL!

So that rusty color in the river is really now the color of the prepared paper showing through? Oh now I have just so much to learn.

  • Thanks for the comment. Yes – there is a bit of paper showing through Randy!!! I also put some acrylic in a pale green underneath those distant hills.

Once again your beautiful work proves to be completely spellbinding Lynda, I love the way you have captured the softness of the background hills, this is a wonderful painting :-) Cardboard???

  • What a lovely comment Constance. Maybe cardboard is not the right description. It is a sheet of mount board that I bought in the art shop and it was a pale blue colour which I didn’t like, so I painted it with the Colourfix gesso surfacing stuff. I also slapped some pale green acrylic around underneath the distant hills.
