Just a Twig by Lynda Robinson
Clear

Pastel on Colourfix Paper – 50cm x 35cm

This was just a little exercise in light and shade on a eucalypt twig, which I did a few years ago, and it turned out well enough to frame and sell. Someone also made a ‘cross stitch’ design from this painting after buying one of my cards at a local Tourist Information Centre. I was totally amazed when they sent me a piece of their cross stitch in the mail depicting my leaves!

You have inspired me Think I will have to try something a bit like this ,love the way you captured the light in this one!!!

  • I feel very happy Robyn if I have inspired you! Often the simple little things in life grab the attention. A lady actually bought a card of this, and then sent me a cross-stitch that she designed and made from it! I was so overwhelmed!
