Pastel on Mein Teintes paper – 50cm x 35cm
This is the ‘reverse’ version of ‘Moving the Mob’. (This time one of the dogs is visible)! It depicts my husband, Peter, and his wonderful dog ‘Kitch’. I sold the painting from our local gallery circa 2003. It is quite interesting revisiting older works, and I am tempted to play with textured paper again after looking at these two paintings.

Another wowie one Lynda! Is that Mary in the foreground? The drover would be Pete?
This was done well before ‘Mary’ came along Sandra. The doggy is ‘Kitch’ and Pete is the drover.

I just adore this capture Lynda, typical Ausie scene. I thought the dog’s suppose to be up front helping and not at the back looking.lol
Hello Noelene – great to hear from you. Yep, ‘Kitch’ was a very keen worker and would move the sheep along a bit too rapidly sometimes, so he often had to be told to ‘Git BEHIND’!!!!
