Pastel on sanded paper (Colourfix ‘stone’) 70cm x 50cm

A couple of pieces of old enamel kitchenware, some eggs and a tea towel were great fun to turn into a ‘still life’ subject under a light in my studio. Amazing how many colours can be found in mainly white items.

I am a pastel artist living in country Victoria, Australia. My subjects vary, ranging from landscapes, portraiture, animal studies, figurative, life drawing, still life and I find the challenge of painting water particularly enjoyable.
