Pastel on Sanded Paper (Burgundy Colourfix) 70cm x 50cm

I have made several paintings of this old historic bridge which crosses the Goulburn River at Seymour, Victoria. It is in danger of demolition as it has been allowed to fall into disrepair. Our Art Society recently held an exhibition featuring paintings of the bridge to raise funds for the ‘Save the Bridge’ Committee.

    Beautiful, as usual, Lynda,
hope you raise enough to save the bridge !

  • Thanks George – Yes, the bridge has been saved with the help of the Save the Bridge Committee, a lot of publicity and a group of dedicated historians. The Shire have now obtained a substantial grant to make the Bridge safe again and it is to be used as part of a walking trail.
