I am a pastel artist living in country Victoria, Australia. My subjects vary, ranging from landscapes, portraiture, animal studies, figurative, life drawing, still life and I find the challenge of painting water particularly enjoyable.
Absolutely beautiful Lynda! The sunlight on the grass both sides of the fence is tremendous
Lovely to have you here as the very first comment Terri!!! I have really enjoyed the Masterpiece Workshop. Well I guess I still am as although mine is finished, (and Beatrice has finished hers too), I am still watching everyone else’s work unfold. It has been an absolute BLAST!!! Thanks for your lovely comment.

Awwww! Thanks so much Beatrice. It has been a fantastic, and most enjoyable exercise. So much fun!
Fantastic work Lynda! I have loved seeing the progress of this wonderful painting (do you call pastels pics paintings?) Thank you for choosing my photograph to translate. Thanks also to Frannie who suggested my Muster Yards photograph for inclusion in the gallery of works to be translated.
Hi Linda and thanks again for the wonderful words. I have sought advice in the past as to whether pastels are ‘paintings’ and according to the National Gallery, Canberra, they are ‘drawings’ if you don’t blend, and ‘paintings’ if you do. I do! So mine are paintings! LOL! I have thoroughly enjoyed translating your Muster Yards. What a great image I had to start with.
So gorgeous – it looks like I could just walk right into that painting, climb over the fence and keep on going, You are a master at your craft Lynda.
Thank you for dropping in and leaving such a lovely comment Cal.
