Pastel on Mi-Teinte Tex paper (dark blue) – 55cm x 35cm approx.

Another of my pastels inspired by my environment. The Australian bush looks wonderful on these autumn mornings, and I only have to step outside a short distance to walk into this scene.

what a lovely place you live in Lyndy Lou….and a beautiful pastel painting that catches the peace, light and beauty perfectly…

  • Hi Linda! Thank you so much for the wonderful comment. I think the image has come up a bit ‘harsh’ looking in comparison to the painting (which I am looking at right now). Might have to adjust it and reload it later……

I’m so happy to be perhaps the first to favorite this. I love how the woodlands floor feels “kicked up” with leaves and grasses. The mist is oh so soft and beautiful.

  • Ha Ha! Thanks heaps Frannie!

Am I slightly green? No not really who would want to swop that beautiful scene for a truly dark, grey, cold May morning here in England! It’s beautifully Lynda and so much texture to this one. Enjoy your Autumn, it’s better than our spring/ summer xx

  • What a gorgeous comment my dear Ms. Riddy! I hear many rumours that the weather over there has been gruesome!!! I am thoroughly enjoying autumn, but would dearly love to hear the pitter patter of raindrops on my roof! xx

Unfortunately the rumours are true, so depressing. I shall catch some rain and send you a bucket load to chuck all over your tin roof lol xx. Must go and turn some lights on, it’s only 9.10 am. X

  • You are a funny lady! I will look forward to chucking the bucket over my roof!!!!! LOL!
