A track between the trees beside the Goulburn River, Seymour, which I often walk along. This painting was part of ‘My Easel & Eye’ solo exhibition in 2005.

    Hee Hee Smutz! I know it looks ever so tempting, but that water coming straight down from the mountains is VERY cold. Maybe I could be tempted to dabble the tootsies on a very hot day, but submerging the entire body in a skinny dip arrangement – ohh no no no!!!! But the Hughes Creek – well that is a TOTALLY different proposition!!!! LOL!

    This is a beautiful pastel painting Lynda! So inviting to walk toward the river along that track. I think the river might be almost up to that same height now.

    I remember when I was doing this that I was annoyed with those complicated trees!!! In the end I just did a lot of dark smudging and then picked out the lights! I actually learned a lot from doing this painting. Thanks for another great, insightful comment Randy.
