Hughes Creek Ripples
Pastel on Colourfix paper (burgundy) 70cm x 50cm
I still have a few Hughes Creek paintings up my sleeve! I just love this area of Northern Victoria, Australia, and cannot wait to go back to this secluded spot that is only accessible via a 4-wheel drive vehicle and a compliant husband! This painting was sold from the Old Courthouse Gallery, Seymour, in 2008.

Fantastic painting!! The reflections and colours of the vegetation are stunning. The light is how I imagine the Australian outback! One of your best landscapes, Lynda – but I think I say that a lot to you, when I view each one! Mine are all in a drawer – though I may be soon nervously exhibiting a framed couple of watercolours, for sale in a charity shop in Wooler.
Lynda Robinson replied
Thank you so much for your exceptionally kind comment Colin. Please get yours OUT of that drawer! Your work is fantastic! I think your work will be snapped up when you exhibit at Wooler.
