I just love all that colour!! An instant mood lift, which is how I like art to be, no doom and gloom. You must have a lovely time getting the material for your paintings, very inspiring.

You tackle the most difficult of subjects but always with superb results Lynda. You should go down in art history as one of the greats. What a shame that top rate traditional art such as yours seems to be largely dismissed in favour of some modern rubbish these days i.e. unmade beds, pickled cows etc.

The way you describe your camping trip and being in this lovely place makes even ME want to go camping. Did you sit THERE and create this? How peaceful it sounds, and what a great incentive for painting. Colors and lighting are mag.

I came back to drool again [Like I so often do!] and I finally dragged my eyes from the picture [usually I open the page and hit the picture to view large straight off! then fave then comment! lol] anyhoo I finally stopped long enough to take note of one word “Howqua” and I know exactly where you camped! Cos that’s where we camped last January!
and to be sure I opened the page and asked Mick where he thought it was and he said Howqua where we camped – River Run park at the foot of the track up to the slate mines and over to Mitchell’s Flats …...
We share so much – such similar parallel lives – same stomping grounds yet we’ve never met! .... must change that SOOOOOOOOOOOON!!!!! lol
(and yet I’m scared! I don’t want to pop this bubble of friendship either!) {{{Sigh}}}
I’ll just drool over your art some more and wish on stars for the money to buy some of it! – No I’ll get my books out & then we shall party for you will do my cover art! [pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze!!!!!!] :O) lol
