I AM not just a GroundHog
An oversized Rodent
There’s a plan for me to do
My teeth keep me chewing
And my claws demand digging
Lots of grass and dirt to move

So when you come apon me
Sunbathing like I do
Remember God created me
So I am very Special too!

just a little poetic thought that whizzed through my mind and i just typed it out

What a great wildlife image Lynda and I so likes your little poem to accompany the image, I can’t say I’ve ever seen a groundhog as they are not native to the UK but would love to see one in the wild one day, they are so much like a beaver,
    Regards, Rod.

  • thank you Rod……………late afternoon in groundhog friendly geography is good, they like to catch a sunbath
