This is a very beautiful still life Lynda and it has great meaning for me. Firstly when we found these on the beach at Witsand they were always regarded as something really special. Secondly because shells are something I treasure, one of my very few possessions I brought with me to Canada is a perfect Paper Nautilus that I found early one morning there. This is a wonderful photograph :-)

  • I’m glad you like it and it brings happy associations to mind for you, Stanza. For me, shells remind me of both continuity and the fragility of life!
