Artist's Description

This is a very old sanskrit mantra. It sounds like this: Lo – kaa, Samash – taa, Sookie -no, Buh – vun – too.

These mantras set up waves that beam out from the chanter. Each different mantra has its own pattern. This one puts out a tremendous wave of Calm.
Each mantra is a link to all the thousands of Yogis that have have uttered the sounds and contemplated the sanskrit text. It is common for Mantra Yogis to suddenly ‘hear’ many voices chiming in. It’s hard to dismiss it as mere chemistry or brain malfunction when half a dozen people all hear the same thing at the same time.

This mantra is a favourite of Mahamandaleshwar Swami Nityananda who is the successor to the great yogi, Swami Muktananda.
The few dollars left after Red Bubble gets paid will go to a Sanskrit school that Swami Nityananda sponsors at his ashram in Magod, India.
