Geoff and Nicci are on show at M16 Artspace - Opening 6th October.

“Wire, hair, threads, gadgetry: Dunn’s camera captures in exquisite detail the quirky strangeness that weaves its way through the prints and drawings of Nicci Haynes. What began as a conventional art documenting project evolved into this exhibition, interconnecting the work of artist and photographer.”

Well that’s what the media release says so it must be true!

Just a quick note to invite you to the opening of a new show I’m doing with printmaker Nicci Haynes at M16 Artspace in Griffith (the suburb not the town). The result of a collaborative documentary process, I am exhibiting nine new works illustrating my photographic interpretation of Nicci’s art.

The images have been printed by Stephen Best of Macquarie Editions and look fantastic. The show runs from 6-23 October with an official opening on Thursday 6th at 6pm.

It would be great to see you there. Nicci’s work is really quite something.

I know I’ve been terribly slack here of late … I’ve been kinda busy getting things ready for the show.
