This work was inspired by an image I saw during a documentary I was watching, I used a screen grab of the image as a template. Which leads me to a difficulty I do not consider this to have been traced but rather I used the image as a mean to fill in blocks of colour and then through a series of painted layers and trying various things constantly referring back this is the image that resulted, changed not only in orientation from the original source but also the exclusion of some detail. I leave the decision to yourselves as to wither or not this counts as traced.

At any rate I do not believe any of that really distracts from the work and its emotion.
