Inspired by the twenty-first day of the Lent study “Atheism for Lent – http://www.atheismforlent.net/the-here-and-now/

Well, this one was a struggle to create, trying to encapsulate the ideas I wanted to take away from today’s study. The main one being the idea of the calling of Christianity is not to look back to a past, or forward in some hope/faith of some perfect future, but rather to be completely and utterly in the here and now, to be grounded body, mind, and soul, in today. The image reflects this idea with the many paths of influence of the past converging on the moment that is now, and then radiating out again with the infinite possibilities of what is to come. The crucifixion is at the now, it is both a moment in the past, and is a moment happening now, it is the nexus for all “here and now’s”.
