Inspired by the tenth day of the Lent study “Atheism for Lent” –

In particular, “Freud sees religion as the adolescent stage of a culture; much as a child learns its parents’ ideals in order to become a part of a family, religion is a set of unquestionable norms needed for a culture to cohere. But the adolescent must begin to rebel against those same ideals in order to become an independent adult.”

Created in PS CS6, total time around 75mins

Religion was also a way for rules or laws to become the accepted way within that culture. I have found so many interesting actions in the Bible and when you hunt down the logic, there were reasons the rules or laws were adhered to. Most pertained to preventing illness or death. Wonderful creaiton and work.
