Black Eyed Angel

Late one night as I just started to get to sleep Radiohead’s “Pyramid Song” came on and suddenly an idea came to me about the “Black eyed angel” mentioned in the song, I quickly sketched the idea down and the next day I used a piece of stock photography I had (from iStockPhoto) to create this work.

I’m rather pleased with the end result, I think it has a nice mix of melancholy, sadness, otherworldliness, and for some reason security…
